My journey towards becoming a fitness trainer began during my formative years in the majestic Redwoods of Northern California. As a teenager, I immersed myself in the natural surroundings, traversing dense forests, leaping over streams, and conquering towering trees. It was during this time that I developed a keen interest in weightlifting, initially as a means to enhance my athleticism for outdoor adventures and later to build muscle and transform my lean teenage physique. I successfully achieved both of these objectives.
Over the years, my personal passion for exercise and nutrition evolved into a fervor for guiding others on their own fitness and lifestyle journeys. My transition into the role of a trainer commenced after I experienced a sports-related injury, leading me to take on my first client, my brother Rowan, in 2015. In just six months, Rowan not only shed 30 pounds but also experienced significant gains in muscle mass and strength, regaining his ability to move pain-free. Witnessing Rowan's remarkable transformation ignited my determination to pursue a career in personal training and opened the doors to assisting numerous clients in their fitness endeavors.
As a certified trainer and nutrition coach, I have honed my training methodology to align with my deep-rooted appreciation for the great outdoors, culminating in the creation of Forest Performance.
